Empowering Learning Through Technology

Integrating technology from kindergarten to eighth grade to enhance learning and digital proficiency

Student using technology

At St. Lorenz School, technology is seamlessly integrated into kindergarten through eighth grade curriculum to enhance and support students’ learning experiences. Starting with the introduction of iPads in kindergarten, students use these devices to engage with educational programs in reading, science, and math. As they progress through the grades, the focus shifts to developing more advanced technological skills, such as proper device usage, internet research, and keyboarding. By fifth grade, students are proficient in using a variety of technologies, including computers, laptops and iPads, to collaborate on projects and enhance their studies. This comprehensive approach ensures that students are well-prepared for the digital age, fostering both their academic growth and technological proficiency.
