Excelling Beyond the Classroom
At St. Lorenz School, students are encouraged to excel beyond the classroom through various academic competitions that promote teamwork, critical thinking, and personal growth. Offered to students in grades 5-8, these competitions include the Academic Bowl, Geography Bowl, Spelling Bee, and Legacy Verse Challenge, allowing students to showcase their knowledge and skills in a fun and engaging environment. Additionally, students can participate in the American and Me “My Michigan Hero” essay contest and the Lutherans for Life Life Essay Contest. These opportunities not only foster a spirit of competition but also help students develop confidence and a deeper understanding of their subjects.
